Two musicians from Trinity school have recently been selected to play in the National Youth Orchestra.
Ross Ah-Weng has been selected to play violin and Alex Wong will play the cello. Both students are currently in the school’s Lower Sixth.
The National Youth Orchestra is an orchestra of 165 young musicians and their aim is to be the most inspirational orchestra for young people.
Cristian Persinaru, Head of Strings at Trinity, said “I am delighted for both Ross and Alex on being selected for the National Youth Orchestra. They have worked hard for it and I have no doubt that they will have experiences that they will remember for the rest of their lives. I am very proud of them!”
