Trinity School is proud to launch its fourth children’s triathlon, recently awarded London Region’s Event of the Year 2013 by Triathlon England. Get involved by filling in an entry form, available from www.trinity-school.org/trinity-triathlon.
Entries are now open for this year’s Trinity Triathlon, which takes place on Sunday 29 June 2014. The event has two important new features; it will accept a higher number of entries (400) and there is a new category for 17-19 year olds. Set up as a legacy to the Olympic Games, the Trinity Triathlon has enjoyed growing success since its inception and is now one of the biggest of its kind in the UK. Volunteers from the School community and Crystal Palace Triathlon Club, the event mentors, as well as pre-planned road closure by TFL for the cycling event, will once again be crucial to the smooth running of the Triathlon and the enjoyment of participants and spectators alike.
Rob Brookman from Trinity School, Event Director, said: “I am very excited to announce the opening of entries for the 2014 Trinity Triathlon. It is now in its fourth year and attracting more competitors than ever, including many from children for whom this will be their first triathlon. An extra age category event is being added this year so we now welcome children from age 8 to 19.”
