In September, Trinity School colleague Dawn Lowe kicked off the Autumn term with an energetic start by competing in the Great North Run, raising vital funds to support Trinity’s Malawi project.

The Trinity Malawi Project supports local charity Hope4Malawi through fundraising and volunteering for Trinity’s partnership school in Chipwepwete.

Dawn, with other members of Trinity School staff and students, visited Malawi two years ago and has completed a number of challenges to raise funds to help build classrooms at Chipwepwete School.

This year, Trinity are aiming to raise money to help sponsor a child from Chipwepwete Primary School through secondary school.

Through her fundraising efforts, Dawn managed to raise over £1000 to support the project.

A fantastic achievement, well done!
