Our charity supports people of all ages and backgrounds and brings them together for the benefit of all. It’s been a tough time, with many having been stuck inside and alone for far too long. So as the sun has begun to creep back into our lives, we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate our 425th anniversary than to get Croydon growing – and remind people how important our community and green spaces are to our mental health and wellbeing.
Archbishop of Canterbury John Whitgift loved Croydon – building some of its first schools, hospitals, and care homes. Today, more than 400 years later, he is still looking after his community through our charity – which celebrates its 425th anniversary this year.
