The new 2016/17 Annual Journal has been released with the theme: Making a Difference Through Excellence showcasing diverse achievements of excellence across the curriculum and in the community.
In the last year, we:
- granted over £5 million in bursaries to nearly half of our students at Whitgift, Trinity and Old Palace schools;
- almost doubled our provision of care for older people through a new Day Care service, the 1596 Club;
- helped thousands of carers from around the borough at the Carers Support Centre.
These are just a few of the ways in which the local community and beyond have benefitted from our charitable objectives of educating the young, supporting Croydon’s carers and caring for older people.
